Where Kvitt is better
- No limit and no ads in the free version. A weekend away can easily mean 15 expenses in one day.
- Swish straight from the app in Sweden. One tap opens Swish with the right amount, then you mark it as paid.
- Receipt photos and four ways to split are free.
Where Splitwise is better
- Recurring expenses like rent and utilities are free. In Kvitt they need Premium.
- The yearly Pro plan includes a Trip Pass: the whole trip group gets Pro features for 30 days.
Questions
How many expenses can I add for free in Splitwise?
4 per day, according to the Splitwise help center. Pro removes the limit. Kvitt has no limit in the free version.
Can I move my groups from Splitwise to Kvitt?
There is no import today. Settle what is open in Splitwise and put the next trip or the next month in Kvitt.
Does everyone in the group need Kvitt?
No. With Premium you add guests who see what they owe through a private link, no account needed.
